i don't know what you actually call them but the things that you press a button on the controller and a sword or something pops into your hand? well yeah those things, do they have physics? like could you make nunchucks or a butterfly knife?

Not sure if rigid bodys work on avatars but if they work you could connect 2 of them with a joint and have nunchucks .
But I'd say dynamic bone is the better way to do that or a butterfly knife. The nunchucks would even collide with your body(not others).
