    Snail made cool marker override to draw in vrchat or people cant talk can write out what they want to say

    when i do it like the video the pen is constant drawing even if i bind it to my fist to draw

    Don't you need an on animation that enables the trail and set it to disabled in the inspector by default?
    So once the animation stopped(e.g. you open the fist) the pen defaults to disable trail.
    Or do you need an actual off animation that disables the component?

    I managed to get it to work but everytime i end my fingerpoint animation ( i write with my index finger tip) the writing disappears and reappears when i make the fingerpoint again.
    How can i get it to stay until i make my EraseAll animation?

    Make sure that you aren't making the EraseAll animation accidentally with your other hand. I've sometimes accidentally continued to draw with my right hand when making the draw animation on my left hand without realizing. Though that may not be your answer, I thought I'd throw it in

    no,thats not my problem. As i said it goes invisble if i stop to draw and is visible again,when i start to draw. EraseAll works as intended.

    If you disable an emitter it will also disable/clear all particles/trails drawn with that emitter. Not sure how you can solve that. It is only enabled when you make that one gesture. Maybe you can somhow enable it all the time and only let it draw stuff when you point at something. So the stuff will stay there untill you clear it.

    So I follow the video to the dot, not sure what's going on but when I make the drawing animation, my hand cups and takes forever to release that animation, with no drawing affect

    That the animation takes forever is probably because you forgot to remove the marker at the 1min mark. It only needs to be from 0-1 (1 frame long)
    With the drawing animation i cant help much.I still cant get the drawing to stay,when i stop my animation.Its not gone like i would use EraseAll but its just invisble until i start drawing again.

    Well I just followed this video, , Helped a lot I got drawing to work and it stays until I erase all, but my animations still freak out when I'm drawing so I can't draw straight

    I know someone else will run into this problem with the new SDK. you must remove the script then it will let you upload with this trail.

    with the new performance rank system, the snail marker brings some problems.
    All models i have the snail marker on, get a very poor rated bound size.
    Is there an alternative or a way to fix that?
